Virtual PortShuttle

Every day, multiple container trains run between the deepsea terminals at the Maasvlakte and the rail terminals in the Waalhaven area and Pernis. Unused capacity on our Train Management partners’ container trains is available for us to shunt containers between terminals, creating an innovative service called the Virtual PortShuttle. This approach offers a sustainable transport solution and an efficient use of capacity at terminals, infrastructure and assets.
