PortShuttle als organisator in de haven van Rotterdam<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Sinds de start in 2015 is het ons doel om de productiviteit en effici\u00ebntie van het spoorvervoer in de Rotterdamse haven te verbeteren. In de loop der jaren groeide onze ambitie. We ontwikkelden PortShuttle tot de organisator van betrouwbare en kosteneffectieve oplossingen voor de uitwisseling van containers in Rotterdam in combinatie met effici\u00ebnt spoorvervoer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inmiddels verbinden we alle deepsea containerterminals op de Maasvlakte en de City Terminals continu met elkaar. Het begon met \u00e9\u00e9n trein in 2015, maar we zijn er trots op dat we nu meerdere treinen laten rijden. Dag in dag uit zorgen we ervoor dat containers op tijd hun bestemming in de haven bereiken om hun reis naar de eindbestemming te maken.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Hoe werken we?<\/h4>\n

Elke week is de haven van Rotterdam het begin- en eindpunt voor meer dan 250 intermodale spoorverbindingen. Vervoer per spoor van en naar Rotterdam is snel en betrouwbaar. Het biedt daarom uitstekende mogelijkheden voor het vervoer van grote hoeveelheden containers.<\/p>\n

We werken samen met spoorvervoerders voor langeafstandstransporten. Door gebruik te maken van lege ruimtes in hun treinen cre\u00ebren we een uitgebreid netwerk van uitwisselingsmogelijkheden in onze haven. We noemen dit ons Virtual PortShuttle Concept. Op deze manier zorgen we er niet alleen voor dat we onze klanten de beste uitwisselingsoplossing kunnen bieden, maar optimaliseren we ook het gebruik van treincapaciteit en terminalslots.<\/p>\n

Ons Virtual PortShuttle Concept gaat zelfs verder dan het cre\u00ebren van een uitwisselingsnetwerk in onze haven. Voor de spooroperators in ons virtuele concept verzorgen we het beheer van hun treinen tijdens hun verblijf in de Rotterdamse haven. Samen kunnen we de optimale manier vinden om treinen in de haven van Rotterdam af te handelen.<\/p>\n

Dagelijks vervoeren wij containers tussen alle terminals in Rotterdam<\/a> en beheren wij verschillende treinen in ons virtuele concept. Onze ambitie<\/h4>\n

Uiteindelijk werken we hard aan een nog effici\u00ebntere afhandeling van containers die door de Rotterdamse haven worden vervoerd voor alle betrokken partijen. Dat doen we door de capaciteit op treinen en terminals optimaal te benutten.
